Straight Outta Compton movie gets released this weekend! It’s all about your favorite gangsta rappers that started it all: Easy-E, Ice Cube, Dr. Dre. This movie is about the highly popular rap group of the 80’s and 90’s N.W.A. It discusses their rise and fall in the music world. And talks about their influence on our culture today.
We all know how polarizing N.W.A was in their time. Upsetting the FBI, getting suburban parents upset, pushing the boundaries of censorship. That’s a good thing. But they paid the price.
Now we see how far Ice Cube and Dr. Dre have come since their days in N.W.A and their roles in music, TV, movies, and fashion.
