About
Ever since I was a little kid I have directed my energy into arts and creative pursuits, from building fake buildings out of newspaper to making movies with action figures. Now I channel my passion for humanities, culture, and creative thought into writing – fiction, commentary on business, economics, and politics, and of course movie criticism. I enjoy a wide variety of films, especially those in the action, adventure, drama, crime, and science-fiction genres.
In 2016 I graduated with degrees in finance and economics from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. There I wrote a paper on the economics of parking lots that won the department’s top writing prize, and I later did a stint as a research assistant. I also slogged through two years of Chinese language and spent four months studying in Shanghai. Currently I work as a government economist at the Army Corps of Engineers.
In addition to writing and watching movies, I spend my spare time reading and working on modern art. You can find my business blog at HERE.
I am extremely excited to join the awesome team at Movie Blogger, and I look forward to hearing your feedback and geeking out about movies!
