Sean McConville Reviews 2017 Awards (Nominees)
My goodness, I’m still coming to terms with the fact that a full year of film has just gone by. Now we must fall into the status quo of the one article or video that film critics of all media platforms must honour as if it were an honoured tradition. A rundown of this year in film.
For SMReviews, 2017 marks the first full year of film reviews, I launched a specials page with a rundown of essentials for film students that has been received positively with more specials on their way, I have even fulfilled a personal dream of visiting Tokyo and being present for the 30th Tokyo International Film Festival.
A quick disclaimer, required by internet law I have to say that these are my own personal OPINIONS. I have not seen every film of 2017, you may even spot a few films on here I have seen but haven’t reviewed. This is just my personal list for you to think or do with as you will.
